A very lucky catch! This was in fact the first AirAsia Japan. The airline had commenced operations in August 2012 and ceased operations in October 2013. This aircraft had been parked up at Narita in an area where it could not be photographed. Purely by luck, when my son and I reached this spot it was taxiing out to return to AirAsia Malaysia and be registered 9M-AQX the next day.
