The Yak-27 was given the NATO reporting name 'Flashlight-C but the tactical reconnaissance version 'R' was the most produced and acquired the reporting name 'Mangrove' This example was on gate-guard duty at Werneuchen, a former Soviet Air Force base in East Germany but in March 2001 in went on display at the Musee de lAbri, Hatten in the Alsace.. It moved again in May 2010 to Speyer where it is now on display. This photo is copyright © Alastair T. Gardiner, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
