Former USAF 82-0984 was delivered after an overhaul at Ogden Air Logistic Center (Hill AFB, UT) to Italy as part of a Foreign Military Sales contract, designated 'Peace Caesar' programme, to Aeronautica Militare Italiana. The contract was signed on 15 March 2001 and the aircraft was delivered to Italy in 2004. The aircraft was returned to the USA in 2012.
