There seems to be some confusion about this Fitter-K. A different Su-22M4 '2544' (cn 31406, formerly '798' of the NVA) from MFG-28 'Paul Wieczorek' at Laage was painted in 1990 into the state blue/yellow/red colours of Meclenburg-Vorpommern to mark the last ever flight of a Fitter in German service. That aircraft is preserved at Berlin-Gatow. This Fitter-K is in reality formerly '2520' of the GAF and '704' of the NVA. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
