This 1985 built Il-76MD once served the Soviet AF as CCCP-76642. Since the early 90s, is started a civil career as RA-76408 and UR-76408 in basic Aeroflot c/s. It was sold to a lease company Atlant that assigned the aircraft to Pacific Express in 1993. Then it served the Ukrainian Air Force as UR-76408 until late 1996. It was first reported in June 2002 in service with Azerbaijan Airlines. The Candid was converted to Il-76TD by June 2003 and since then operating for Silk Way.
