Acquired by Hotelsuites.nl for conversion into a luxury hotel suite for two at Teuge airport, where it arrived (by truck) on 24 April 2009. It is seen here shortly after its arrival and still in its original Interflug colours. The name "Fani" was only carried on the left side. Less than three months later the aircraft had already been fully repainted in grey and white Hotelsuites.nl colours. The Ilyushin was still there by late 2020.
