An HU-25B (Falcon 20G) medium-range surveillance (MRS) fixed-wing aircraft, once the back bone of the USCG , was pictured in 1987 at Opa Locka's, Coast Guard Air Station Miami in Florida. The Aireye Surveillance System and wing pods carrying side-looking aerial radar (SLAR) was an upgrade to the HU-25A, and those were redesignated HU-25B. The last HU-25 was taken out of service in June 2013. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
