This C-130 C1P, later converted in C3P, landed heavily in 2007 on a rough airstrip in the Afghan desert. It was badly damaged and could not be recovered. It was being used to transport SAS units and was equipped with highly classified communication equipments. Due to the presence of Taliban troops in the vicinity, some sensitive items were removed, and the plane was blown up.
