During it's time serving with the 57th FIS this Phantom spent a lot of time chasing Soviet Air Force bombers and reconnaissance aircraft. Later in 1985 it returned to the States to serve with the 4th TFW at Seymour Johnson AFB before it crashed on September 5th, 1986.
