Flying 157267 (at that time still a J-model) Randy Cunningham and William Driscoll shot down a MiG-21 (19/01/1972) and a MiG-17 (08/05/1972) while assigned to VF-96 operating from USS Constellation. 2 days later they destroyed 3 other MiGs, becoming the first US aces of the Vietnam War.
