The Armée de l'Air ran a detachment for years at N'Djamena-Kossei with a C-135FR tanker. The aircraft supports French fighters during their operations over the Sahel region. This 474 was pictured on the newly built platform during the European Union Force Chad/CAR (EUFOR) mission in 2008.
