Built in 1965 and in 1996 acquired by Airwave Transport. On 19 November 1996, while on maintenance at Toronto, a fire broke out in a wing which damaged the aircraft beyond repair. [As a footnote, another Airwave Gulfstream (C-FAWG) was scorched in the fire but survived however two others (C-GNAK & C-GPTG) crashed nine days apart in July 2000.
