Seen here arriving from Accra in a revision of her original colours, this VC-10 was the first of two accepted by Ghana on 27.1.65. Free demonstration flights were given to locals, many of whom had never been on a plane before. The VC-10 had a profound effect on the nation's culture and even had a type of dress named after it.
