Impounded after the infamous 2001 attempt to land 271kg of cocaine when Captain Barrett-Jolley taxied to the end of 24 out of sight of the control tower and held while five suitcases were thrown out of the opened door. Unbeknown to the crew, Customs and the Police were in wait. The captain (who claimed the landing was a diversion for repairs on the flight from Jamaica) and co-pilot were sentenced to 20 years but have recently been released from prison This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
