The very first Starlifter to be built, making her maiden flight on 17.12.63, the 60th Anniversary of the Wright Brothers first flight. Spent entire career as a test aircraft with AFSC at Wright-Patterson in numerous programs, the last being to test a new tension rope for NASA towing a QF-106 in the air. One of four early C-141A's not converted to C-141B standard, all 270 in the main fleet undergoing the stretch.
