Built by Toon Jacobs with two 15hp JPX engines, it was registered in Oct-1993 as PH-THE. Its CoA expired in Apr-2008 and in Apr-2011 it was cancelled. In 2013 it was converted to MC-15E with 2 Electravia electric engines. On 21-Sep-2013 it crashed at Montmédy-Marville, France. It is thought that Toon was testing the aircraft and that during a high-speed taxi run it became airborne. Trying to land it bounced, left the runway, flipped over and caught fire. Toon did not survive. He was a very prolific amateur manufacturer, with 10 aircraft built. This photo is copyright © Peter Vercruijsse, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
