The Happy Hooligans of the 178th Fighter Interceptor Squadron of the North Dakota Air National Guard , based at Fargo (ND) operated the mighty F-4D from 1977 to 1990. Then they swapped to F-16A/B. The mission for the squadron changed massively in 2007 when they transitioned to C-21A Learjet and shortly after to MQ-1B Predator Unmanned Aerial Systems. The Happy Holligan visited a small air show at Willow Run (IN) in 1989. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
