This strange machine known as the RTAF-5 was a Thai training and forward air control aircraft developed and built by the Science & Weapon Systems Development Centre of the Royal Thai Air Force in the 1980s. Like a scaled-down OV-10 Bronco, it had a twin boom configuration and was powered by a single pusher turboprop engine, but only a single example was built, first flying in 1984 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
