Seen here taxiing out for its final display performance, the next day on departure homebound to Italy this prototype crashed in the sea near the Palm Deira after control loss, the pilots ejecting safely. The UAE Air Force was due to place an order for this light attack/advanced jet trainer, now being delivered to the Italian and Singapore AFs, but there was a dispute about spec and this event will surely make it even less likely.
