Caught here as a Pelita Hercules powers away behind, this Dakota was originally delivered to the RAF as FD797 in 1942 and was acquired by Field Aircraft Services from the USN in 1947 as G-AJZX. Used by British Netherlands Air Service, then bought by Garuda Oil Co as PK-PAB in 1951, later also serving Caltex.
