Corporate aircraft fitted with the AiResearch Maximizer kit (main gear wheel well doors, tail wheel well closure, prop spinners, revised engine cowlings and exhausts, and oil cooler fairing). This DC-3 was the personal aircraft of Chas S. Jones, CEO and Chairman of the Board of The Atlantic Richfield Corp. In Feb 2009 it was mounted on poles at Santa Monica as N242SM.
