The NEI army air force bought eight P-6 Hawk I fighters in the USA in 1929. A second batch of eight, including this aircraft, was built by Aviolanda in Holland. Large tropical radiators were fitted. On the fuselage is the name of pilot Sgt Troost. The c/n of this aircraft is incorrectly reported as '32-276'.
