This aircraft was actually Shackleton 1720/M, c/n1530 which was only painted in the scheme of Shackleton 1717. (1717/O - c/n1527) for display outside of the SAAF museum at AFB Ysterplaat. The aircraft has since been scrapped after one of the mounting sockkels/ Gear legsrusted through deeming her unsafe.
