Magnificent machine about to touch down for the 1977 IAT, from 415 Sqn, Summerside, PEI. The Argus was a unique hybrid that employed the wings, tail surfaces and undercarriage of the Britannia, married to a new unpressurised fuselage of Canadian design and US engines. 10736 was stood down in 9.81 when replaced on maritime patrol by the CP-140 Aurora and scrapped This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
