Was built in May 1944 for the USAAF as 42-72202, but delivered to the US Navy as BuNo 39163. Later to NC49527, ZS-BWN, F-BJHG & TU-TBJ. Seen here on the active runway after a nosegear failure during landing. Unfortunately the aircraft was written off during this accident due to serious airframe damage sustained when the aircraft was pushed off the runway.
