This T-33 was previously 53-5628 as part of the Mutual Defense Assistance Program (MDAP). It flew with the Aufklärungsgeschwader 51 (Reconnaissance Squadron 51) and Jagdbombergeschwader 34 (Fighter Bomber Squadron 34). After decomissioning it joined the Deutsches Museum in 1974 and after restoration by the Luftwaffenversorgungsregiment 1 (Air Force Supply Regiment 1) in Erding it is now on display at Flugwerft Schleissheim.
