After the success of the Let L.410 twin engine turboprop in the late 70s, Aeroflot requested a possible replacement for its An-24 aircraft. This is the first prototype produced for the Let-610 program and is now preserved in a metal recycling company's yard in Staré Město. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
