Although built in 1972, this N.262 was intially stored, not going into service till 1976 when converted to Mohawk 298 spec (to meet US FAR 298 regulation) by repacing the Turbomeca Bastan turboprops with P&WC PT-6As. Sold to Lloyd Aviation (later Queensland Pacific Airlines) as VH-HEI in 6.87.
