View inside the amazing Indian Air Force Museum. The Marut was India's first indigenously designed fighter and also her first supersonic aircraft. It was designed by Dr Kurt Tank of FW-190 fame. Alongside is the tail unit of a damaged Su-7, no doubt a relic from the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War. The HT-2 trainer in the foreground was also home-grown This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
