A busy pier on a dull day at MAN with five classic types and an excellent opportunity to compare the noses of the Caravelle and Comet. It is often mentioned that Sud-Est used the Comet nose when designing the SE.210. Indeed there was co-operation leading to the noses of the first two prototypes being direct copies and those thereafter very similar including cockpit layout This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
