When doing some research about this U-2, I was astonished to find I'd seen the very same aircraft just two days before as it is the one suspended in the American Air Museum at Duxford. Now painted in the standard black, the white colours here can be attributed to the fact that the 9th SRW were flying it as a crew trainer.
