This DC-9 was originally delivered to Alitalia as I-DIBD 'Isola di Montecristo' in January 1969 (then I-RIBD, then I-RIFD). It went to Northwest Airlines in October 1995 and flew with them until October 2007, after which it was retired and ferried MSP-OPF for scrapping. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
