This CV-340 was originally delivered to Braniff in February 1953 as N3416 and was with them until June 1971. The plane then had time with many interesting airlines, including historical names such as Sierra Pacific Airlines, Trans Sierra Airlines and Bahamasair to the more esoterical Sterovision International and Music City International amongst a few. It was registered N454GA by General Air Services in August 1984 and N154JR by Rhodes Aviation sometime in 1991. Coastal Air Transport took it over in September 1996 but was stored at OPF by January 1996 and scrapped sometime after July 2009. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
