Looking magnificent in Malev colours, this Il-14 never in fact flew with the airline. It is an ex-Soviet AF example (ex 04 red) that was beautifully restored a couple of years before this shot, being given the next-in-sequence registration to follow those which were assigned to the Malev Il-14 fleet in the late 1950s (HA-MAA to HA-MAK).
