Built in 1943 as US Navy PV-1 48722 but transferred to RAF as JS942 and SAAF as 6458. Sold to Howard in 1960 as N130PL. Converted to Howard 500 N130P with new c/n 500-114 and operated by several owners as an executive aircraft until stored at Chandler by 1987, becoming derelict there.
