Screaming Darts were very much a feature of Jersey till the 1990s. Here, Hotel Mike shows off BAF's third livery applied to the Viscount fleet, complete with the revised titling. After being operated in the red Parcelforce colours, the aircraft became 3D-OHM in 8.99 but aborted t/o and veered off the runway at N'djamena, Chad on 24.7.01. Despite being written off, attempts were made to restore her for flight - until a soldier sleeping under the wing accidentally fired his gun and punctured a fuel tank This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
