This is former USAF RF-4C 65-0936, that was handed over to Spain in 1978. It is seen here in a long line of Phantoms at Torrejon that had been wfu in February 1989, just a few months before our visit to Torrejon. The aircraft was sent to the Bardenas Reales weapons range as a target in 2002. This photo was taken by Paul Geerts as my camera sadly malfunctioned that day.
