This 744 was originally delivered to South African Airways as ZS-SAV in January 1991 and flew with them until retirement in June 2006. It had finished freighter conversion by January 2007 and joined the cargo division of Cathay Pacific, subsequently flying for Air Hong Kong from September 2011. Alas, it was retired in July 2017 and ferried to Pinal Air Park (Marana) for storage/scrappage.
