This venerable Tu-104 jetliner serves as gate guard near the airport of Moscow-Vnukovo, painted to represent the Tu-104 prototype CCCP-Л5412, with titles and logo of Vnukovo Airport. Two different Tu-104s have been displayed here, both falsely painted as CCCP-Л5412. The first one was CCCP-42450 c/n 921102, which appeared here on 15 September 1976 and was removed in September 2004. On 9 April 2006 it was replaced with the aircraft seen in this photo, which is ex CCCP-42507 c/n 021905.
