This A300 was originally delivered as VH-TAC to TAA - Trans Australia Airlines in October 1981. It flew for Air Niugini for about a month and then Qantas after the merger. In June 1999 it was converted to a freighter and bought by Express.Net Airlines, who then perated it for Air Hong Kong until it was retired to Pinal Air Park (MZJ). Fortunately, in September 2006 Midex Airlines rescued it from the desert and it now flies for AMS airlines as 4L-ABA. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
