This North Star served with the RCAF from 8 March 1948 until 27 September 1965. It wears a UN flag here. It carried UN troops to Congo in 1960. The belly radar was supposedly fitted 'briefly' during the late 1950s. As N8022, the aircraft flew in the Caribbean until about 1980, allegedly used in smuggling operations.
