F-GFUA was one of several airliners chartered to provide air services in Australia in 1989 after a dispute with pilots had grounded the major domestic airlines. F-GFUA was owned by aircraft leasing company Transpacific Enterprises, which shared common ownership with Ansett Airlines, one of the carriers caught in the dispute. However, it was flown on behalf of Australian Airlines, Ansett's rival. This photo is copyright © David Carter, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
