This InterSky Dash 8 arrives at Tegel from Friedrichshafen during the airline's heyday. InterSky faced increasing competition in the German domestic market, made a few ill-fated attempts to establish secondary bases, and invested in an expensive refleeting program with ATR-72s that led to insolvency in 2015. This particular aircraft was delivered to Palestinian Airlines in June 2000 as SU-YAM and also flew with Baboo as HB-JEJ before coming to InterSky. In early 2012, it started flying with Maldivian as 8Q-IAS. This photo is copyright © Edward Kehler, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
