This 320 was originally delivered to Aero-Lloyd as D-ALAE in March 1997. It also was leased to Ryan International several times for a few months only before joining Niki in July 2004 and is pictured here taxying out to rw34 for departure.. It flew with Blue Wings for a short time as D-ATRA until joining Deutsche Forschungsanstalt fur Luft und Raumfahrt (DLR) in June 2006, where it is still current (although for two of those intervening years it was used a fuel cell demonstrator and registered F-WWDB).
