Constructed as a RC-121D and delivered to the USAF as 53-0554 in October 1955. Redesignated as EC-121D in September 1963. The first EC1-21 to reach 20.000 hours (in 1968). Redesignated as C-121T in Septmber 1970. Transferred to the USAF Reserves at Homestead AFB in October 1974. Retired and ferried to Davis-Monthan AFB for storage in February 1976. Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number CK0197. Transferred to Pima in 1981. Judging photos, the aircraft underwent restoration between 2012 and 2017. Photographed outside again in October 2019 with a fresh coat of paint.
