This plane was orginally delivered to Lufthansa as D-ABYW in December 1981. After conversion to a freighter in Israel it went to German Cargo January 1991 and was withdrawn from the Lufthansa Cargo fleet in September 1999. The following month it joined Southern Air Transport as N742SA, Air Atlanta in June 2003 and Tradewinds Airlines in September 2007. It returned to Air Atlanta but then ended up in the Far East and is currently stored in poor condition at Kuala Lumpur (KUL) with unknown owners. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
