Avro York G-AHEY of Lancashire Aircraft Corporation wears 'trooping serial' WW506 because it is about to perform a flight through the Suez Canal Zone carrying military personnel. It served LAC from April 1952, changing to their subsidiary Skyways in February 1955 and was withdrawn at Stansted in August 1962.
