Ex D-ABXK with Lufthansa, this 737-300 was acquired by Balkan a few days before this photo was taken and just before the Bulgarian flag airline declared bankrupcy. When Bulgaria Air was formed and declared officially the new flag carrier (November 2002) this was one of the aircraft incorporated: they simply changed the titles keeping the tail logo.
