Taxiing out for its display. A rich history for this bird, which started at the US Army Air Force around 1944 as 44-74494. To the RCAF in December 1950 as 9237. Became N6356T in December 1959. Exported to Europe in July 1964. Owned by 20th Century Fox as a movie asset. Exported to the USA by ship in January 1971 and participated in various air races during the 1970's and 1980's. Became N72FT somewhere between January 1981 and 1987. Exported to South Africa in May 2010 and the markings as visible in this photo were applied.
