The photo shows a shield on the forward fuselage ahead of the engine. The shield showed across the top the letters ARDC, underneath following the curve of the shield it was written Air Force Special Weapons Center. Aircraft was reconverted from NB-57B to combat configuration, it was lost after being hit by ground fire over Laos 22nd September 1968. The crew was rescued. Reference Joe Baugher's page.
